I even bought a tank top in the store part of the 24/7 gym and they still would not give me even one day of a pass for free, and I explained I walked for 35 minutes to get there to the front guy (cold, aloof, didn't even say 'thank you' when i bought the shirt.uh.I am giving your business money? don't you say thank you?). (I was just trying out 24/7 for the three day pass and because it is a bit closer to my apartment in waikiki).Kakaao Fitness is the name and they charge 25.00 too.for a full month!! And you don't have to be local. WHAT? My other choice of gyms, a bit further but I go there regularly when in Waikiki (months a year, for decades) is a superior, highly specialized bodybuilding (and regular) workout gym.with champion trainers like mine, Alan Ichinoise. The manager said '25.00' (USD!!) for one day. As a tourist, 25.00 for a one-day entry? I signed up for the 'three day free' pass online, got there and they had me sign up all over again (a very unfriendly reception guy, he couldn't have cared less about me obviously), then shuffled over to a waiting area, then the manager sat me down and explained I had not read the fine print and the pass was only for local residents (he is correct, the fine print does say that online, it was my fault but then the guy at the reception said nothing when I asked him, upon filling out the form in front of him as per his instructions 'i don't live here so what do i put in your box about zip code' and he gave me a local code.don't you think that should have trigged for him the words 'oh but this is for locals only' instead of having me complete the form, and then wait for a manager?
